A D'Andrea guitar plectrum which was used by Marc Bolan.
The end of the pick has been broken off. The condition is very good minus.
Provenance: obtained backstage at a concert in Glasgow and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the recipient which reads,
'We had been sitting on the floor of Glasgow's Electric Garden, very near the low stage. During the concert it struck me that Marc Bolan was giving his guitar a really punishing treatment and thought he must go thru [sic] many plectrums and guitar strings. When the concert finished my girlfriend and I thought we'd attempt to go backstage to meet the band. Luckily the security were quite relaxed and asked at the band's dressing room door if they wouldn't mind meeting us for autographs. Mickey Finn invited us in but on meeting Marc Bolan we were kind've struck dumb. Couldn't think of anything to say. I remembered his treatment of his guitar and asked if he went thru [sic] many plectrums. If he had, could I have one as a souvenir of the show? Unfortunately he couldn't remember breaking one recently but said "Hold on", went over to his guitar case, lifted out his guitar and said, "Hey, you're in luck!" And there is was, a broken plectrum, which he was pleased to give me.'
