A collection of 10 original sixties black and white photographs of The Beatles performing on their debut at the Odd Spot Club, Liverpool, England on March 29th 1962.
The photographs were taken by Liverpool based photographer Alan Swerdlow. Each is stamped verso Alan G Swerdlow, Typographic Design and Photography, 31 Colquitt Street, Liverpool 1.
One photograph has been trimmed, it measures 8.25cm x 6.1cm (3.25 inches x 2.4 inches. The remaining nine photographs each measure 10.5cm x 7.4cm (4.1 inches x 2.9 inches). There are tape stains in the corners and a small scuff on the front of two of the photographs. The condition is very good.
Provenance: from the collection of Freda Kelly, Beatles National Fan Club Secretary 1962 to 1972. Accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from Freda Kelly. Also comes with a Tracks Ltd. certificate of authenticity.
