Freddie Mercury Larry Lurex Abbey Road EMI Studios Acetate (UK)

An original single sided 7 inch EMI Studios Abbey Road acetate containing the song entitled ‘I Can Hear Music’ by Larry Lurex. Larry Lurex was an artist name used by Freddie Mercury for a 1972 musical project initiated by Trident Studios house engineer Robin Geoffrey Cable. The single is on the Abbey Road EMI Studios label with handwritten title, artist and track duration details. The track was recorded in the summer of 1973 by Freddie, Roger and Brian whilst they were waiting for an available studio to work on their debut album. The song was originally written by Jeff Barry, Ellie Greenwich and Phil Spector.

There is a hairline surface mark otherwise the lacquer is very clean and bright. The condition of the vinyl is conservatively very good plus. The condition of the labels is excellent.
