A pre-nineties sign for Eel Pie Studios, Twickenham, London. The studio was located in The Boathouse on the banks of the River Thames and the name came from the nearby Eel Pie Island which came to be known as a major jazz and blues venue. The studio played host to a number of artists including Pete Townshend, The Who, Roger Waters, A-ha, Siouxsie and The Banshees and Thin Lizzy.
The sign measures 109.5cm x 79cm x 4.5cm (43.1 inches x 31.1 inches x 1.7 inches). The condition is good.
