Sun Records 1950s/1960s Correspondence & Invoices (USA)

A collection of correspondence, invoices and receipts relating to Sun Records from 1953 to 1965. The lot consists of the items listed below.

Six typed letters addressed to the company, five on Paramount Record Manufacturing Co letterhead and one on American Distributors.

Three copy letters sent from Sun Records to Monarch Record Manufacturing Company and Paramount Manufacturing

Two Western Union telegrams sent to the company

Two carbon copies of faxes sent by the company

Ten various invoices and receipts

Sun Records was founded in 1952 by Sam Phillips and was the first label to record Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lews, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash.

The largest item measures 21.5cm x 28cm (8.5 inches x 11 inches). There is wear and creasing to most of the items. There is damage to the bottom edge of one of the receipts. The condition is very good.
