An extremely rare low numbered mono vinyl pressing of The Beatles White Album. PMC 7067. It is number 0000012.
The minimalistic sleeve design was conceived by Richard Hamilton who not only suggested this approach but also the idea of the consecutively numbered sleeves which would ironically give a limited edition feel to a potentially multi-million selling record. Very few copies of the album with this low a number have surfaced on to the market.
The condition of the vinyl is good.
The label on side one has a circle drawn around it in felt tipped pen, otherwise the condition of both labels is very good.
The condition of the inner black sleeves is fair.
The poster has two large tears along the folds. The condition is good.
The photos are missing. The sleeve has a seam split at the bottom, ring wear, tape stains and two large scuffs running from top to bottom on the front cover, some damage to the lettering and remnants of a beetle drawn under the embossed limited-edition number. The condition is poor.
