An original sixties black and white snapshot photograph of John Lennon taken by a fan at John’s Weybridge home Kenwood in summer 1967. It has been signed on the front by John Lennon in blue ballpoint pen.
The photograph was taken and the autograph was collected by the same avid Beatles fan who visited the group’s homes on a number of occasions in the late 1960s. The fan recalled that, ‘They were pretty relaxed about posing for photographs on their own front doorsteps, the first time one of The Beatles opened their door I nearly fainted’. The signature dates to summer 1967.
The photograph measures 8.5cm x 9cm (3.25 inches x 3.5 inches). It has been trimmed very slightly on the right edge, signature is faint. The condition is very good.
