A black three quarter length buttoned overcoat made with cloth from Crombie of Aberdeen for the mens clothing shop Dunn & Co.

The coat measures 56cm (24 inches) across the chest and 110cm (43.25 inches) from collar to hem. There is some wear to the collar and sleeves. The condition is very good.

Provenance: the coat was one of several items of clothing donated by Sir Paul McCartney to the Star Boot Sale 2015 in association with eBay for International Rescue Committee to provide winter packs for refugees fleeing the Syrian conflict. The item is accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Tracks Ltd letterhead and also a colour print out of the prices realised from the relevant part of the eBay auction together with illustrations.
