A bottle of rare Rothschild Chateau Lafite 1er Grand Cru Classe Paulliac 1983 vintage wine housed in a wooden box bearing the 1995 Queen album title ‘Made In Heaven’. The wine was given to guests who attended the launch party of the album on the 20th September. It is still wrapped in the original purple Domaines Barons De Rothschild tissue paper and comes with a insert card which reads:

‘Chateau Lafite

1er Grand Cru Classe, Paulliac.

Chateau Lafite is one of the five top Chateaux in Bordeux. The 1983 vintage is considered to be rich, powerful, and one of the finest available. It is no lightweight so do not serve with a gentle meal.

We feel that the grandeur of this wine is the perfect compliment to mark the closing chapter of one of rock’s most legendary careers. Just as wine connoisseurs say that it is a remarkable vintage, a classic in its own right, so the same shall be said of the new Queen album 'Made In Heaven.’

The box measures 11cm x 35cm x 10.7cm (4.3 inches x 13.8 inches x 4.2 inches). There is some tearing to the tissue paper along with some staining where it appears the bottle may have leaked. The condition of the label is excellent. The condition of the bottle is very good plus. The condition of the box is excellent.
