An original concert handbill for the Greatest Show Ever To Be Staged at Liverpool Stadium on the 3rd of May 1960. Gene Vincent headlined the show. Rory Storm and The Hurricanes, with Ringo Starr on drums, also appeared along with Davy Jones, Nero and His Gladiators, Lance Fortune, Dean Webb, The Viscounts, Julian X, Colin Green and The Beat Boys, Peter Wynne, Cass and His Cassanovas, Mal Perry and Gerry and The Pacemakers. The Beatles and their future manager Brian Epstein were in the audience during the performances.
This is the first printing of the flyer which mentions Eddie Cochran's appearance, following his unfortunate death the subsequent printing of the flyer for this concert omitted a reference to Eddie's appearance.
The handbill measures 13cm x 19cm (5.1 inches x 7.5 inches). There are creases where it was previously folded. The condition is very good.
