Two rare original sheets of Ray Davies Entertainment Ltd. Konk Studios letterhead. The address is printed as 84 – 86 Tottenham Lane, Hornsey, London, N8 7EE. Director R. D. Davies. Text is embossed in silver and a ‘ZETA’ watermark can be seen in places. Konk Studios was established by The Kinks in the early 1970s and it became their main recording studio until the group disbanded in 1996. Other artists who recorded here include Bay City Rollers, Bee Gees, Thin Lizzy, Depeche Mode, The Stone Roses, The Kooks, The Fall and Arctic Monkeys.
The letterhead measures 21cm x 29.5cm (8.2 inches x 11.6 inches). There are a few small, light creases across the surface. The condition is excellent.
