An exceptionally rare 3 page Star Club, Hamburg, Germany performance contract for The Beatles appearances at the venue between 1st and 14th November 1962. It has been signed by The Beatles manager, Brian Epstein, in black ink and also by the owner of the Star Club, Manfred Weissleder, in black felt tipped pen. The contract stipulates that The Beatles shall perform three hours a day in separate stints with an hour’s break after every performance. The group would go on to perform for seven days a week with a weekly payment of 600DM to each band member. During this stint of appearances The Beatles shared the bill with Little Richard and performed for a total of 42 hours.
The contract measures 21cm x 30cm (8.25 inches x 11.8 inches). There are two holes punched along the left and right edges for filing purposes. The condition is excellent.
