A collection of items relating to American singer-songwriter James Taylor who was signed to The Beatles Apple label in the sixties. Includes the lots listed below.

A contract between Creative Management Associates and James Taylor, dated the 20th May 1970, in which James appoints the company as his manager and agent. The contract has been signed by James in the bottom right in blue ballpoint pen. Also included is a typed letter from the same date, signed by James, in relation to the supplying of pictures and mats.

A typed letter from Broadcast Music Inc. dated 5th December 1977 regarding an advance of $150,000. It has been signed by James in blue ink on the second page.

A typed letter from Sony Music to James, dated the 2nd November 1992, with amendments to a contract from when Sony took over CBS Records. It has been signed by James on the third page. Also includes a fax sheet dated the 10th May 1993 which was sent from attorney Nathan M Weiss.

The contract measures 21.6cm x 43cm (8.5 inches x 17 inches). All other sheets measure 21.7cm x 28cm (8.5 inches x 11 inches). The condition is very good.
