A collection of approximately 133 contracts for performances by The New Vaudeville Band during the period that the group were managed by Peter Grant. Of this collection of contracts, 68 have been signed, including three by Peter Grant, and 65 are unsigned. There are a handful of additional letters and expense receipts included.
Peter was best known as the manager of Led Zeppelin from their inception in 1968 to their breakup in 1980. Before this he worked with promotor Don Arden as a UK tour manager. By 1964 he had started his own management company at 155 Oxford Street, from here he managed several acts including the New Vaudeville Band. Robert Kerr left the group following disputes with Grant.
The contracts are housed in a folder which measures 24.5cm x 35.5cm (9.6 inches x 14 inches). There are signs of wear to the folders and contracts including age related discolouration and creasing. The condition is very good minus.
