Clive Epstein Clarendon Furnishing 1969 Signed Letter & Newspaper Adverts (UK)

An original guard book containing a collection of Clarendon Furnishings newspaper advertisements and documents relating to planned advertising between 1965 - 1969. Also included at the front of the folder is a Clarendon Furnishings letter signed at the bottom by Clive Epstein, dated 3rd December 1969. Clarendon Furnishings was a furniture store owned and managed by the Epstein family, both Brian and Clive managed the store at points during their careers. After the death of his brother Brian Epstein, Clive became chairman of NEMS Enterprises in August 1967.
Provenance: the documents etc. come from the collection of the Epstein family.
The folder measures 25cm x 34cm (9.8 inches x 13.3 inches). There are marks, scratches and notes in pen on the cover. The condition is very good. The newspaper cuttings are glued to pages, some are folded or have wear to the edges. The condition is very good. The signed letter measures 20.5cm x 25m (8 inches x 9.8 inches). It has been previously folded leaving horizontal crease lines, the top left corner is folded and there are small marks across the top. The condition is very good.
