A jacket previously owned by Marc Bolan. Marc wore the garment in various photo shoots and on stage. It features black velvet sleeves with embroidered front panels and a black satin lining.

There is no size label present. The jacket measures 42.5cm (16.7 inches) armpit to armpit and 49cm (19.3 inches) from the back of the neck to the hem. The buttons down the centre have been lost. The condition is very good.

Provenance: sold by Marc’s wife Gloria Jones in the late seventies and accompanied by a letter confirming this.
