A rare mono 7 inch Emidisc acetate recording of the 1969 Beatles song ‘Teddy Boy’. Running time 5 minutes 35 seconds. The acetate is date stamped on the label 25th January 1969. It was cut by EMI employee Richard John Langham. This version of the song was recorded at Apple Studios, London on 24th January 1969 during the ‘Let It Be’ sessions. The track was not included on the final album release but was included on the unreleased Glyn Johns cut of The Beatles album ‘Get Back’.
Provenance: the acetate was formerly the property of Derek Taylor who subsequently gave it to the music journalist Roy Carr.
The acetate looks in very good condition plus. It plays excellent.
