Paul McCartney Hand Signed Letter on Apple Headed Notepaper 1968 (UK)

A typed letter on Apple headed notepaper that has been hand signed by Paul McCartney. Paul has signed his first name only in blue pen and he has added a drawing of an apple. These typed letters were signed by Paul and then sent to each member of the Apple staff during a period in 1968 when he was at his most enthusiastic for the company's future. The letter reads as follows:

‘In case you are ever worried about anything at Apple – something which you don’t feel able to sort out yourself , or maybe something you can’t get answered – please feel free to write me a letter at 7 Cavendish Avenue telling me about the problem. There is no need to be formal about it - just say it.

The main thing is to keep the lines of communication open. Incidentally, things are going well; so thanks.

Your Sincerely,

Love,

Paul’

The letter measures 21cm x 29.5cm (8.25 inches x 11.75 inches). There is a thin line of discolouration around the edge of the page. It has been folded leaving two horizontal crease lines. The condition is very good.

Provenance: from the collection of a former Apple employee and comes with a Tracks Ltd. certificate of authenticity.
