A collection of Paul McCartney-related items which was put together by an overseas Beatles fan in the mid to late sixties. The fan travelled to England from South America in 1966 to follow The Beatles. She developed a particular liking for Paul McCartney and would wait outside his home in Cavendish Avenue or outside the studios in Abbey Road to catch a glimpse of The Beatles bassist and, on a good day, perhaps exchange a few words with Paul or obtain his autograph. This interesting collection of ephemera consists of items, listed below, that she collected from outside of 7 Cavendish Avenue or were given to her by Paul.

A pack of Bicycle playing cards

A blue part of a pack of Gauloises Caporal cigarettes

A rolled cigarette

A selection of dried leaves and twigs from the garden

A small sheet of green stamps with “29-1-67 green mini” written on the reverse

A Tate & Lyle sugar label with “20-1-66 saw him with Martha and outside EMI” written on the reverse (Also included is an I LOVE PAUL badge which was owned by the fan at the time.)

The items come in a decorative cardboard box which measures approximately 28.5cm x 19cm (11.25 inches x 7.5 inches). The condition of the items overall is good.
