A notebook that previously belonged to designer Mike Ross which contains drawings for albums covers, logos and various other designs and ideas. Mike was commissioned by Paul McCartney to design the cover for his compilation album 'All The Best'. The notebook contains 11 pages of concept notes, drawings, sketches, song titles etc. all relating to the design for the 'All The Best' album. It also includes designs for the following albums 'React' by The Fixx, 'How We Live' by Dry Land and 'Weapons Of Love' by The Truth.

The book measures 15.5cm x 21.5cm (6 inches x 8.5 inches). There is one loose leaf. The condition is very good.

Provenance: from the collection of designer/art director/photographer Mike Ross. Mike was responsible for album covers by many artists including Paul McCartney, Elton John, The Police and Sting. Comes with a Tracks Ltd. certificate of authenticity.
