Henry McCullough’s 1972 Ritva Man blue knitted t-shirt which was worn extensively during Paul McCartney and Wings UK university tour between 9th and 23rd February 1972 and also on the group’s European tour between 9th July and 24th August 1972. The t-shirt bears the Wings logo on the front. Paul McCartney commissioned the shirts to be made by the English design collective Ritva Man. The Ritva Man label was formed in 1969 by Ritva Ross and her husband Mike Ross and the clothing from the label remains highly collectible to this day. The Ritva Man label is present.
Although there is no size label the size is small to medium. The condition is very good plus.
Provenance: from the estate of Henry McCullough. The shirt comes with a photograph of Henry McCullough wearing it backstage at Offenbach Halle, Frankfurt, Germany on 19th July 1972.
