A square white spotted cotton napkin that was previously owned by Freddie Mercury. It was manufactured by Artraco and sold by Harrods.
The napkin measures 39.3cm x 37cm (15.5 inches x 14.5 inches). It has been folded leaving vertical and horizontal crease lines. There is fading and some fraying to the label. The condition is very good.
Provenance: previously sold as part of lot 1587 from the Freddie Mercury: A World Of His Own, Crazy Little Things 1 sale held at Sotheby’s, New Bond Street, London on 12th September. This lot consisted of a large collection of table linen etc. that Freddie had purchased for use in his home, Garden Lodge, in Kensington, London. This item is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity on Tracks Ltd. letterhead stating the above.
