A collection of mainly type written notes relating to the upkeep of George Harrison’s Friar Park home in Henley. The notes were given to George Robb a former employee at Friar Park and include instructions such as the following:

‘Both wooden bridges need a good brushing as they are dangerously slippery. Also, steps up to the tree house. There is also lots of bark on floor up in the tree house that needs sweeping away’

‘There are at least two drain soakaways which are full of soil’

‘Can someone find the orange flood lights that we used to use in our bedroom. They kind of disappeared when the decorating was finished’

‘Could you please sort out the coal, get rid of the dust. Before Harry orders more for winter’

In total there are 12 pieces of paper containing instructions. The largest piece measures 21cm x 29.5cm (8.25 inches x 11.75 inches). Most of the pieces of paper have been folded leaving horizontal or vertical crease lines. The condition is very good.
