A collection of items relating to Rick Wakeman’s 1979 album ‘Rhapsodies’. Includes:

the original cover artwork which consists of separate shots, taken by photographer Paul Wakefield, combined into one retouched dye-transfer print with some body colour air brushing added to the sky

an original concept sketch

four original Polaroid photographs one of which was used for the inner gatefold

a sample copy of the sleeve without the vinyl

The artwork board measures 59.8cm x 44cm (23.5 inches x 17.2 inches). The condition is very good. The concept sketch measures 18.5cm x 8.5cm (7.2 inches x 3.2 inches). There is some creasing and small sections of staining, the condition is very good minus. The photographs measure 10.8cm x 8.5cm (4.2 inches x 3.5 inches). The condition is very good. The condition of the sample sleeve is very good.
