A rare concert programme from the Roy Harper concert, dubbed the ‘Valentine’s Day Massacre’ that took place at the Rainbow Theatre, Finsbury Park, London, England on 14th February 1974.
The programme has been autographed on the reverse by Led Zeppelin, Roy Harper, Keith Moon and Ronnie Lane in dark blue ballpoint pen. The concert saw the performance of a supergroup called The Intergalactic Elephant Band who were put together especially for the one-off performance. The group consisted of the above signatories to the programme. Comes with an original ticket stub for the performance.
The ticket stub measures 8.5cm x 6cm (3.25 inches x 2.4 inches). It has been folded vertically down the centre and laid flat. The condition is very good plus.
Provenance: accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original recipient that reads:
‘Myself and my fiancé at the time purchased tickets to see Roy Harper and Guests. The date was 14th February 1974. It was called the Roy Harper Valentines [sic] Day Massacre. It was held at the Rainbow Theatre, Finsbury Park, London. Roy Harper was joined on stage by:

After the concert, we were lucky enough to go to the afterparty. We met all the band members and they all autographed my Roy Harper programme’.
When closed the programme measures 21cm x 30cm (8.3 inches x 11.8 inches). It has been folded horizontally across the centre. The condition is very good.
